All Food is Clean

Many people get tripped up on the idea that if it's edible it's okay to eat, but we have to look at God's definition of food. When people quote scriptures about all food being clean, they ignore that pigs, shellfish, and certain insects were never considered food in the first place. As the Bible shows, these creatures are unchanged and eternal in their purpose.
We are called to be Set Apart in every area of our lives, including what we put on our plates. The distinction between clean and unclean isn't just a "Jewish thing" from Sinai. Noah knew the difference long before the Law was given in writing to Israel. As Moses said in Leviticus 11, the Father gave specific instructions on what is fit for consumption. He didn't do this just to be restrictive. And it wasn't because they didn't have refrigeration at the time either. Paul taught in Romans 14:17 that "the kingdom of God is not meat and drink," but he didn't mean we are to ignore the instructions given to keep us holy.
If we look at End Times prophecy, the commandments haven't changed. Isaiah 66:17 says, "They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord." This shows that even in the judgment, eating these things is still considered an abomination. John even mentions in Revelation 18:2 that Babylon becomes a cage for "every unclean and hateful bird." If the definition of clean and unclean changed, these categories wouldn't exist in the future.
Is what you think is food defined by the culture or from the Word of God?
