“The Savior So Sweet!”
While sitting on a bench in the community park and thanking, praising, and just blessing the Lord for all the good things He has done for me and my family, I felt my spirit within begin to pray to the Lord.
The prayer came in a prophetic poetry form which He often downloads to me. I quickly pulled out my tablet and began to record which you are invited to read below.
Oh Savior
of my pitiful soul,
permit me
to be so bold.
I come to
Your heavenly place,
to cast
my weeping eyes
of tears upon
Your
beauty and grace.
All my desire
is to lay my head
upon Your
breast to gain
eternal rest.
O’ Savior,
let me hear
Your
Words divine
which bring
joy
and
comfort
so sublime.
Allow me to listen
to the
heavenly throng
singing sweet songs
to Jesus,
the Lamb of God
to which they belong.
Open my eyes
to the
myriads and myriads
of angels who
prostrate fall
giving glory
to the One in All.
Let me see
the
casting of crowns
by the
24 elders
around
Your throne
they surround.
All of heaven’s glory
and
light fall upon you
ever so bright.
Who can proclaim
such majesty
and
awe
for one cannot
comprehend it all.
You are the
bright and morning star,
the lily of the valley,
the sweet aroma
from the Rose of Sharon,
a garden of delights,
a loving Savior,
and
the gentle Shepherd of Your sheep
who comes
and
awakens us from our sleep.
You say to
those who seek,
“Come My child
and
sit with Me for
I have much to speak.”
“I say to you to listen
and
open your heart
for each day on earth
I wish to give
you a fresh start.”
“As darkness begins
to cover the earth,
do not fear,
for My Light is near.”
“Walk in the Light
for you will see
and
hear
My Words so strong
and
clear.”
“My Son,
Your destiny with Me
has been, is,
and
will be
forever in
eternity with Me.”
O’ Jesus,
what sweet
and
instructive words
You speak
to my spirit and soul,
which will never grow old.
My heart aches
to be with You,
and
casting my eyes
upon your face
and
taking in all
your divine grace.
What a day
that will be
to fall upon my knees
to be in your presence
with joyful glee.
To thee I owe it all
for there is nothing
I can do but
on my knees fall.
All glory and grace
be to thee
for Your
perfect salvation
granted to me.
