TERENCE APONSHINE

Ministry Partner,  Jesus Follower

World Outreach Christian Life Center Ministry (WOCLCM)

My Story

My name is Terence Aponshine, I was born in the Northwest region of Cameroon called Bamenda. As a young Cameroon of about eight to twelve years of age, the Lord developed in me a love for him, which manifested through a strong desire to attend church even if my parents were unable to go with me. I would often prepare myself to serve with an unmatched eagerness. My experience in the Church at an early age made me want to be a Pastor. When asked what I wanted to be in the future, I would say a Pastor or Doctor. I am very passionate to serve the Lord in any capacity. Sunday was and still is my favorite day of the week because I get to meet with other believers to worship and serve the Lord.

In 2003, I immigrated to the United State at the age of seventeen, I decided to join the Army in September of 2015, four years after I got married in 2011. Together we have three boys. I joined the Army because I felt a deep sense of gratitude to God for what he built this Nation to become. Not only would God, through the Army provide a more stable life for my family, but it would also be a channel for his Word to spread amongst my peers. It has been and still is a personal joy of mine to be used by God in the Army. With all the benefits offered by the Army, I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security.

In June of 2011, I joined World Outreach Christian Life Center Ministry (WOCLCM) pastored by Pastor Sylvia P Laughlin based in Tampa Florida. The Holy Spirit has given me a hunger for truth that is undefiled or uncompromised by the culture. It is by that hunger that the Lord led me to WOCLCM through the World Trumpet Mission led by Dr. John Mulinde. Many doors have been opened for me to serve the Lord through WOCLCM but the most rewarding of all is the opportunity to serve in the Altar Of Prayer (AOP). I give Glory to God almighty for placing me amongst a body, through which I am fed the meat of the Word. Amen.
