It appears that our nation has fallen under the judgement of God which really isn’t a shock. We were holding out hope because the Lord says, “Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and YOU shall prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:20
However, when the Lord reveals otherwise it shows us that those who were claiming to speak prophetically are not actually hearing from the Lord. “If the prophet speaks in the LORD’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the LORD did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared.” (Deut 18:22) So now we turn to trusting the Lord and understanding that His will is going to be accomplished. This hour shows that we may be fast tracking to His return as wickedness will greatly increase. “Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.” (Daniel 12:10) May all who belong to the Lord cleanse themselves of unrighteousness and look up for our redemption draws near. Jesus said he is returning for a spotless bride, a bride who has made herself ready. This is a time to draw close to Jesus and be in His Word like never before. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3)
I had a good friend say early on that this situation will either spark a revival by showing Gods hand clearly or it may ignite “the Great Falling Away” which the Bible speaks of happening before the anti-Christ is revealed. Meaning professing believers loosing faith.
None of this catches God by surprise. He is allowing what He allows to bring to pass ALL the events which He told us would come to pass before He returns.
