I AM is with you, says the Lord!

The Lord will at times want me to know something either through His Word, imparting a vision to me in a dream as presented in the last post entitled “Lights Out,” or just speaking to me in my dream with no vision attached to it which is the case as described below which came after “Lights Out” was posted.

I know when he speaks in my dreams, I listen and usually wake up after the dream. And let me add, I can discern quite well the difference between a “pizza dream” and a dream coming from the Lord.

After receiving the contents of this dream, I immediately went to my office and wrote down His message which I want to share with you.  I like to think this message is also for all who would read and might gain something from it.

Lastly, let me say there may be times in our walk with the Lord that we ask Him, “Where are you, Lord?  I can only take so much of the things I am currently facing.  I need your help!.”

Some of us may even get to the point of weeping before the Lord because the burdens, afflictions, persecutions, and/or hardships we are bearing feel like a ton of rocks.

I often think of David in the Old Testament who needed constant help from the Lord for the many difficult situations in his life such as his relationship with Saul who wanted to kill him, his family betrayals and moral failures, and his many military exploits where some did not end so good while in others the Lord granted victory.

When one reads the many Psalms David penned, we find Him constantly crying out to the Lord for help as we note in Psalm 142:1, Psalm 3:4, and Psalm 28:1-2. Psalm 77:1, and several other places in the Psalms.

The Lord knew David’s plights and how they were impacting Him emotionally, psychologically, domestically, mentally, physically, etc.  But David did not give up on the Lord.  He would seek the Lord, and the Lord would respond to David’s supplications as He will respond to us in our many vicissitudes in walking out this life from a Christian foundation and perspective.

So whatever situation you may find yourself facing and the tears you are shedding, do not despair for the Lord knows and will act in His time regarding your prayers, suppliations, and petitions.   Here is a word for you as it is for me for he spoke this word to me saying…..

I am with you

 says the Lord.

Let not your heart be troubled

 and

 discouraged as Yau

search for meaning

 of the things taking place

 in the earth.

I am with you,

says the Lord

Let not what you hear

 and

see disturb you

 for I the Lord control

 all things in the earth.

 Trust me!

 I am with you,

says the Lord.

Let not the valleys of darkness

 you experience determine

your path

for I will take you through

 the lowly places

 and

 bring you out in the

 light of day.

I am with you,

 says the Lord

Let not your worries

 and

anxieties cause you

 to

 fear

 and

question

 My hand upon you

 for it is I,

 Your Lord,

who will put

My peace

 in your heart

and

 mind.

I am with you,

 says the Lord.

Let not the things of

 earthly distractions

 which rob you

 of your time

 in seeking me

 draw you away.

I am with you,

says the Lord.

Let your heart fully

seek Me for

I have

 taught you,

led you,

 blessed you,

and

 have not

abandoned you.

I am with you,

says the Lord.

Let you understand

that it is I the Lord

who keeps you

 on the right

 path of life

for your

destiny is in

My hand.

I am with you

says the Lord.

The flow ended here.

After receiving this word of the Lord in my dream, it was the next morning in my Bible study that I turned to the Book of Haggai and begin to read in chapter 2 and discovered His amazing confirmation or affirmation to what He spoke to me in my dream. Note the following three verses and the highlighted words in green.

‘But now

 take courage,

Zerubbabel,’

 declares the Lord,

take courage

 also,

Joshua son of Jehozadak,

the high priest,

and

all you people of the land

take courage,

declares the Lord,

and work;

for I am with you,

declares the Lord of hosts.

Haggai 1:4, (NASB)

(My comment:  This is the phrase He used 8x times in my dream emphasizing over and over that He is with me and to take courage (3x).  The number 8 in Scriptures is associated with a New Beginning or a fresh start and for me it means to take courage as the Lord is with me and affirms that in this dream. I am going to have a New beginning and fresh start out of the many challenges I am currently facing.  Therefore, I must walk in faith and expectation that the Lord will bring these things about in His time and the manner He chooses.

He also wanted me to know as he draws my attention to verse 5…..

….. My Spirit is abiding in your midst;

do not fear!

Haggai 2:5 (NASB95)

As mentioned previously, this prophetic word may not only be for me but for you who are crying out to Him in your personal situations, in the times we are living in the times of anxieties and concerns about the present and future, or in the times of just wanting a Word of the Lord to be made clear to you.

I feel this may be part of the Word He wants you to know and digest as well and to totally trust in Him and take courage that He has everything in control for He says…….

“I am with you says the Lord…”

“…..So take courage

 …..So take courage

       …..So take courage”…..

And allow me add……

And I will give you

peace and prosperty

in the midst of your

 seeking Me

    declares the Lord of Hosts.”

(Haggai 2:9, (NASB)

The more we seek and leave the busyness, distractions, worries, and the “tyranny of the urgent” of the world and the flesh, the more the Good Shepherd affirms and reaffirms to us again and again by saying……,

“I am with you says the Lord…

and

My peace will flow to you

and

surround you for I will not abandon

you or forsake you

for you are the

“Apple of My eye.”

Be blessed my friend for the Lord knows your need, and what you are going through.  Remember, the Lord has your back.

It is the Lord that stands with you and empowers you to have the VICTORY IN HIS SON no matter what the situation or circumstance may be.

So daily declare and decree the VICTORY in Christ He has given us thought His Cross.  Accept it, believe it, and live it.  You can face any situation for the Lord is with you, for you, and He will bring you through or out of your greatest challenges you are now facing.
