Hope, Joy, and Peace
and
Signs, Wonders, and Miracles!
The more of my maturing in Christ and His Word and applying and witnessing His Word, I have found the greater His hope arises up within me. His Word daily embraced can generate and manifests hope and the greater His hope the greater His joy and peace has come to me.

What is very interesting is that we find Apostle Paul in his Epistles often boasting in God and the things of God. For instance, he says:
“…..in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.” (Romans 15:17-19)
Hope, joy, and peace are part of the “things pertaining to God” which are supernatural things imparted by the hand of the Lord for those who are His obedient, testifying, witnessing, and extraordinary disciples of Christ.
They witness Christ for they find hope, joy, and peace in Christ. They represent God’s kingdom and not the kingdom of the world while the hope, joy and peace of the world is human generated, fickle, unstable, unforgiving, and not lasting.
Apostle Paul remarks that…..
…..the kingdom of God
is not eating and drinking,
but
righteousness
and
peace
and
joy
in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 14:17 (NASB95)
Everything Apostle Paul accomplished was through Christ’s imparted hope, joy, peace, and righteousness and carefully take note:
…..in the power
of signs and wonders,

in the power
of the Spirit;
so that from Jerusalem
and
round about as far as Illyricum
I have
fully preached the gospel of Christ.
“Things pertaining to God” include power (Dunamis) – not human power, not intellectual power, not emotional power, not religious power, but Holy Spirit power and authority manifesting supernatural signs, wonders, and miracles which should accompany the preaching, teaching, or sharing the “Gospel of Christ.”

The “Gospel of Christ” is twofold. It involves the Word (His Word) and Wonders (His signs and miracles) in order to manifest the Kingdom of God.
His disciples are charged with carrying this two-sided Sword (Words and Wonders) into the kingdom of the world as Christ instructs when He told His disciple then and today…..
Truly, truly,
I say to you
he who
believes in Me,
the works that I do,
he will do also;
and
greater works than these he will do;
because I go to the Father.
John 14:12 (NASB95)
Works are the supernatural signs and wonders which Christ demonstrated to the people to confirm or affirm His Word of Life of healing and deliverance which bring hope, joy, and peace.
Christ also said:
And these
attesting signs will accompany those who believe:
in My name they will
drive out demons;
they will speak in new languages;
They will pick up serpents;
and
[even] if they drink anything deadly,
it will not hurt them;
they will lay their hands on the sick,
and
they will get well.
Mark 16:17–18 (AMP)

The Word plus Wonders (Supernatural) should be the norm in the modern church. But 99% of the churches today do not operate with a double edge “Sword of Power” – anointed power Word and attesting signs wonders, and miracles such has healings and deliverances from demonic powers.
Sad to say, it seems there is no supernatural power in the modern church world. And yet, Jesus said,
….he who
believes in Me,
the
works
that I do,
he will do also;
and
greater works
than these he will do….
And to be even more clear, Jesus adds in his final words to His early disciples:
And they went out
and
preached everywhere,
while the Lord kept working with them
and
confirming the message by the
attesting
signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it].
(Comment: “it” meaning the Power Word shared, preached, or taught)
Amen (so be it).
Mark 16:20 (AMP)

Therefore, what we can conclude is that the presence of hope, joy, peace and righteousness is imparted into the lives of Christ’s disciples.
With this impartation can flow the anointed power of the Word shared which can manifest the signs, wonders, and miracles of Christ moving in the midst by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Word plus the supernatural works is the Light of Christ penetrating the darkness of the culture because His Light in us is greater than the darkness in the world.
This is the biblical model Christ expects in these last days of this age. Let us be in prayer and intercession at the Cross of the Master greatly expecting His touch to go – share a Power Word; lay hands on the sick and expect their healing from their sicknesses and diseases as well as casting out the demonic powers keeping people and nations in bondage to his rule and authority for greater is He in us than in the world.
So be it Lord Jesus, Amen and Amen.
