God’s Summons in the Last Days of this Age!

God is summoning or calling His last day disciples to recognize their unworthiness in serving the Master and submit to Him to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and with His fire as we read from the testimony of John the Baptist in Matthew 3:11-12.

He is looking for those disciples who are on “fire” for Him – who have allowed His “fire” to burn out the idols of the heart, the bondages of the world system, the religious traditions, and the self-life which has smothered the spiritual life within preventing the power and authority of the Holy Spirit to manifest the Kingdom of God.

He desires to separate His “wheat” (“sold out” disciples of Christ who live 24/7 by His Word and Commands) from the “chaff” (the “burned-out embers” or pretenders who have withdrawn from the Christ of the Cross and chosen to serve other gods.

It will be those on “fire” burning “hot” for the Master rather than the “lukewarm” who have opened the door to His knock on their hearts and have invited Him to come in and continuous transform their lives from the self-life to a Christ life. (Revelation 3:14-22).

It will be the “wheat” - the “sold out” disciples of Christ burning “hot” for Him in all they say and do who will manifest the opposing Kingdom of the World – the Kingdom of God.

But how is this Kingdom of God brought forth?  It comes by His grace - (1) Grace Gifts and the (2) Grace Fruit of the Spirit to be sowed into the lives of others. It is the application of these two things which generates His authority (exousia) and power (dunamis) in terms of anointed preaching/ sharing the Word (testimony) followed by signs, wonders, and miracles (witness).

Christ said as Mark recorded in chapter 16:

 And He said to them,

Go

 into all the world

 and

preach

and

publish openly the good news

(the Gospel)

 to every creature

[of the whole human race].

He who

 believes

 [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel

 and

Him Whom it sets forth]

and

 is baptized will be saved

 [from the penalty of eternal death];

but he who does not believe

 [who does not adhere to

and

 trust in and rely on the Gospel

 and

Him Whom it sets forth]

will be condemned.

And these

signs

will accompany those who believe:

 in My name they will drive out demons;

 they will speak in new languages;

 They will pick up serpents;

 and

[even] if they drink anything deadly,

 it will not hurt them;

they will lay their hands on the sick,

 and

 they will get well.

Mark 16:15–18 (AMP)

This my friend is the Kingdom of God which comes to minister Christ and sets the sinner, the backslidden, the worldly, and those in bondages to the powers of darkness to walk in the liberty which Christ provides.

 It is by the moving of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the those “set on fire” by the Holy Spirit – baptized by Him in His “purging” and” cleansing fire” which causes a liberty and deliverance from sickness, demonic powers, and the world and all its allurements. They are the ones who foster the Kingdom of God to come and transform lives, families, churches, cities, and nations.

But there is more for where is the Kingdom of God? Jesus said, “the Kingdom of God is in your midst” (Luke 17:21).  It is not just in words but in power – the Holy Spirit power (1st Corinthians 4:20).

          Christ sends us out to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to perform healing as well as delivering from the power of the evil one (Luke 9:2).  And Christ would add:

“…..and heal those in it who are sick,

 and

say to them,

“The Kingdom of God has come near to you.

Christ continues:

“When you see these things happening

 (What things – The preaching/teaching the words of the Kingdom and the acts of the Kingdom

 (miracles, signs, and wonders)….

recognize that the Kingdom of God is near.

 (Luke 21:31).

The Kingdom of God is active, dynamic, transforming, inviting, demonstrating, and authentically generating its power in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation as well as in “lifeless or “dead churches” where the glory of the Lord has exited out the backdoor and the worldly, “churchy, and religious things”- wood, hay, and stubble have entered front door.

The Kingdom of God comes forth not from pew and inactive pew sitters, the “lukewarm,” the “non-seekers” of His call to “GO (GO..D), or those of half-hearted surrendering and yielding to forsake all (pick up His cross, walk in self-denial, willing to suffer if need be for His Kingdom, or those who have lost their zeal and placate the flesh rather than continually seeking the Master night and day in prayer, supplications, and interventions for His call is to…..

…..seek first His Kingdom

and

His righteousness,

 and

all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 6:33)

What things? The things of the Kingdom of God to accomplish the Will of God which is the mission of the Lord Jesus Christ….

The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me,

because He has anointed Me

 [the Anointed One, the Messiah]

to preach the good news

(the Gospel)

to the poor;

He has sent Me

to announce

 release

 to the captives

and

 recovery

of sight to the blind,

to send forth

as delivered those who are oppressed

 [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],

Luke 4:18 (AMP) Luke 4:19 (AMP)

 To proclaim

the accepted

 and

acceptable year of the Lord

[the day when salvation

and

 the free favors of God profusely abound.

Luke 4:18-19, (AMP)

My friend, this was what I received from the Lord during this writing, and it challenges me deeply within. This is the essence of the Kingdom of God and His invitation to walk in the above which can be a very difficult walk for it requires one to lay down one’s life and live the Cross-Life with Christ as priority #1,2,3…..But I warn you, the price to pay to live Christ and His mission is a heavy price and few there are who can make the transition to give up everything and follow Him!

If this writing has moved you, pricked your mind and heart, and shed light of what the Kingdom of God represents, then seek Him as to your place in the Kingdom of God in these last days of this age.
